This policy explains how Strategy Maestro Ltd handles personal information when you use this website (strategymaestro.com), contact us, or ask about our products and services. Our products, such as SkyCare OS, Sky Compliance Portal and SuccessApply, may have their own privacy notices, which apply when you use them.

What information we collect

• Enquiry details. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, your message and the type of enquiry you choose. You may also give your phone number, organisation, job title, details about your project or interest, and an attachment such as a brief or a CV. Nothing else is required.
• Your choices. We record that you acknowledged this policy, which version it was and when, and whether you asked to hear from us.
• Where you came from. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags, or from another website, we store the page you came from and the campaign details, so that we know which article or post led to your enquiry.
• Technical information. When you send an enquiry we store a one-way scrambled version of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser type, to spot spam and abuse. Our hosting and security providers can also see your IP address when you visit.
• Messages you send us directly. If you email, phone or message us on WhatsApp we receive your contact details and whatever you tell us. WhatsApp is provided by Meta, which has its own privacy policy.
• Analytics, only if you accept. If you accept analytics cookies we use Google Analytics to see how the website is used. See our cookie policy.

We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health details, through this website, and ask that you do not send it. We do not sell personal information.

Why we use it, and our lawful bases

• To reply to your enquiry and to take steps you ask for. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before a contract.
• To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and abuse. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
• To keep a record of what you agreed to and which policy applied. Lawful basis: legal obligation and legitimate interest.
• To understand which of our articles and posts lead to enquiries. Lawful basis: legitimate interest.
• To send you news, only if you ask us to. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To understand how the website is used, only if you accept analytics cookies. Lawful basis: consent.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile you.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months from the day you contact us, then delete them together with any attachment. If we start working together, we keep the records needed for that work for as long as the work and our legal duties require. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner we will, unless the law requires us to keep it. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics account, as described in the cookie policy.

Who we share it with

We use service providers who handle information for us:

• Railway Corporation hosts the website and its database.
• Cloudflare provides our domain name service, content delivery and security, and the Turnstile spam check on the contact form.
• Resend sends the confirmation email you receive and the alerts to our team.
• Google provides the email mailbox where enquiry alerts and messages sent to our address arrive, and, only with your consent, Google Analytics.
• Meta (WhatsApp) handles messages, only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.

We may also share information with professional advisers, where the law requires it, or with a buyer if the business is sold, always with the same protection. We do not sell or rent your information.

International transfers

We operate from the United Kingdom and Nigeria, and our providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. When information leaves the UK or Nigeria we make sure it stays protected, for example by using providers with standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another transfer mechanism recognised by UK and Nigerian law. Ask us if you would like more detail.

How we protect it

• The website uses HTTPS.
• Attachments are stored privately and are visible only to authorised staff.
• Access to our content system is limited to named staff, needs a strong password, and locks after repeated failed sign-ins.
• We delete information when we no longer need it.

No system is completely secure. If a breach puts your rights at risk we will tell you, and the regulator where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may have the right to:

• be told how your information is used, and ask for a copy of it
• have inaccurate information corrected
• ask us to delete it
• ask us to restrict how we use it
• object to our use of it, including for direct marketing
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
• receive your information in a portable format, where that applies

Complaints

We would like the chance to put things right first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113) or to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng).

Children

This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites and services, including WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change, with a new version number and date. The version you acknowledged when you contacted us is stored with your enquiry. This is version 1.0, effective 21 September 2026.
